Hello Beautiful!

I have been super super late in posting this haul! So much that I have already started using some of the products for over a month now! So I'll just go ahead and quickly mention the products I got on a trip to Naheed Super Market one fine day!

What I Hauled:

a) Colour Studio Professional - Pro Matte Lipstick - Raven.
b) Colour Studio Professional - HAUTE Nail Paint - OMG.
c) Maybelline - Color Drama - Berry Much.
d) Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipstick - Lady Red.
e) Maybelline - Baby Lips Electro - Strike A Rose.
f) Maybelline - The Rocket Volum'Express Mascarra.

Raven is the first lipstick I bought from the Colour Studio Pro Matt range, it was included in my My favorite Lipsticks for Winter and I also used it for a Valentine makeup look. Berry much was also included in My favorite Lipsticks for Winter

Maybelline The Rocket is a re-purchase, I'm in love with this Mascara and have reviewed it which you can read here. I've been looking for a Red Lipstick and I bought this Lady Red immediately! That glitter nail polih caught my eye and I just could leave without it!

What did you haul recently?

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

In My Stash : Makeup Revolution London

Hello Beautiful!

With the end of Fall Series on my blog, I have decided to start another series called "In My Stash", where I will share my makeup collection with all of you in different categories -brand wise such as Maybelline Collection, in this post Makeup Revolution Collection or it's function wise such as Blushers, Highlighters, Mascaras, Lipsticks and so on and provide concise reviews too. Also other collections I have of let's say, Jewelry, Perfumes etc. Now I have in no way a huge collection but I do have collected a lot in this 1 year of makeup obsession.

So now that you know what this series is all about, I'll start with the first installment.

In My Stash : Makeup Revolution London.

I will share my collection of Makeup Revolution London.

A revolution in offering a comprehensive range of Makeup, Palettes, Makeup Products, skincare and haircare at great prices everyone can afford.

Makeup Revolution is famous for their palettes, they basically make great makeup products priced reasonably low so that everyone can afford it. From eyeshadow palettes to highlighter palettes, they have a lot to offer.

Here's what I have so far from this particular brand.

The Eyeshadow Palettes:

I have got three of their eyeshadow palettes called The Redemption Palette Iconic in 1, 2 and 3.

These  palettes are actually dupes for Urban Decay's Naked Palettes and I must say they are spot on too. In the beginning of my makeup obsession I didn't want to splurge on the Naked Palettes and although I knew these wont be the real deal I am so glad I got these!
While a few shades in each palette are not really pigmented, the palette on the whole is actually very good!

The formula is soft and blend-able and the overall palette is quite pigmented specially their satin and shimmery shades! I absolutely love these and use them very often.

My most used eyeshadows in all three of these palette are the dupes of Half baked and Trick. Their shimmery shades pack on so well and smooth on the eyelids and with Fix Plus they become this foiled goodness!!

I'm definitely gonna get more of their eyeshadow palettes! For the price they are really good although I repeat few of the mattes are kinda disappointing in these palettes. A full review of this will be up soon.

The Highlighter:

Did you know they have a dupe for the Houglass Ambient Lighting Palette? It's called the Radiance Palette and according to the reviews it's awesome!! I have yet to try it for myself.

What I do have is one of their Baked Highlighter in Golden Lights. They have two more shades called Peach Lights and Pink Lights. Golden Lights was actually my first ever highlighter when I got into makeup.

Golden Lights is said to be a dupe for NARS Albatross but as I haven't tried that I can't say for sure. The highlighter is actually very good and very pigmented, it's a baked product yet blendable and soft. It's more of a shimmery highlight and gives quite a glow which can be intensified if used wet.

The Blushers:

Makeup Revolution has a variety of blushers, available as singles and in palettes. In powder, cream and baked forms. I have their Powder Blushers in Now!, Hot!, Sugar and Treat. They are available in either round or square pans, I'm not sure why the different packaging though but the formula of these blushers is actually very good! The powder is soft, smooth and so blend-able! Also the pigmentation is good and buildable. I love how compact they are to carry around.

Treat has a shimmery finish otherwise rest of them are matte. There is another one called Love that is missing from my collection. I have been eyeing some of their blush palettes but I don't know if I will have use of them since I already own these blushes but there are definitely different shades in them and I feel a palette is more travel friendly since you get different colors in one place.

That's all I have from Makeup Revolution In My makeup Stash and I am happy with what I got and plan to increase my collection with all the new amazing stuff they have launched recently! Makeup Revolution is available online at www.reforma.pk and www.daraz.pk for Cash On Delivery. You can also place orders on various Facebook Pages such as Zensky.

So there's the first installment in this brand new series called "In My Stash". I hope you like it, don't forget to leave your feedback in the comment section. Your comments and feedback are always valued. Also, what shall I share next in these series? Blushers? Mascaras? Let me know (:

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

Masarrat Misbah Makeup Lip Varnish - Lust

Hello Beautiful!

I finally got around to review Masarrat Makeup Lip Varnish in Lust. I have had a lot of time to wear and test it since I last bought it, you can see the haul here. Lip Varnish offers 10 beautiful shades.

What Masarrat Misbah Makeup says?

Available in Matte and Shimmer shades, this smoothing Lip color provides opulence with light-weight luxurious color. Infused with Shea Butter and Vitamin E.

My Thoughts:

Packaging: Lip Varnishes are in a Matte Black cuboid packaging with MM Makeup logo and the shade name is mentioned on the bottom on a sticker. The tube inside is Gold in color. The packaging is somewhat sturdy, don't think it'll be safe for traveling though because the cap on the lipstick doesn't close with a click (how satisfying is that click!).

Color: Lust is a beautiful mauve-purple. It goes on opaque

Formula & Application: It has a creamy-semi-matte finish. The pigmentation is amazing! You don't need to apply it twice for the intense color. I suggest applying with a brush for a more sheer wash of color. Also the lipstick is very soft and creamy, thus it glides on smoothly.

Lasting Power: The Lipstick lasted for 4 hours on me without a need to touch up. I had a snack in between.

Scent: It has a sweet smell that I feel most inexpensive lipsticks have, plastic-y and cosmetic-y but it's not over-powering although it lingers for some time after the application.

Here you can see it swatched on my wrist and applied to my lips.

I would rate this 4 on 5. Love how creamy and pigmented it is. Don't really find the packaging sturdy enough or the scent good enough.

Have you tried any lipsticks from Masarrat Misbah Makeup? How was your experience? Let me know.

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

INGLOT Is Now In Dolmen Mall!

Hello Beautiful!

I'm here to tell you something really exciting! Our favorite cosmetics store is now open in Dolmen City Mall!

The Launch Event:

INGLOT opened its doors, in Dolmen Mall Clifton, to the public on Thursday, 18th February with a successful and star studded launch event attended by Beauty Bloggers, Socialites, Beauty Enthusiasts, Celebrities and the Media. The event was organized by Savvy Event and all of us were given a very warm welcome by Aamir Mazhar.

The event started with a session for Bloggers followed by Makeovers which was very informative as well as fun. We were shown around the store. I loved how everything was super organized and pretty, right from the interior to the products displayed on the counter.

After the Makeover session, I went around swatching and trying products and I was impressed the most with their Lipsticks, Blushers, Highlighters and Nail Paints!!! The color selection was immense and beautiful -from nudes to vibrant colors!

INGLOT also offered a 14% discount on the Launch Day. As time went by, more and more people poured in, refreshments were served, a zillion pictures were taken and the event was a huge success.

I'm so glad I got to meet Naz Mansha, CEO of Nishat, she has such an amazing and sweet personality. The event was also attended by Maheen Khan, Anoushey Ashraf, Tehmina Khalid, Maliha Rao and many beautiful personalities.

The launch event was a huge success right from the beginning to the end.

Lips:
  1. Maybelline Sensational Lipstick - Coffee Craze.
  2. Luscious Cosmetics Super Moisturizing Lipstick in Daisy Pink.
  3. NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream - Antwerp.
  4. Color Studio Professional - Pure Matte - Raven.
Steps:

Eyes:
  1. After priming my eyes with the concealer, I set it with the pressed powder.
  2. With a blending brush I began blending Caramelized in my crease and built up the color until I was happy with the intensity. I made sure I blended it really well though.
  3. I packed Nooner on the outer corner of my eyes and while blending it with a denser blending brush I also buffed it into the crease and blended everything again with MB23,
  4.  On my entire lid, I applied Sequin with my ringer finger. I really packed this beautiful shade on.
  5. With Nooner again on a dense blending brush I blended the outer corners and the edge of the lid shade to blend the hash line.
  6. I used Strange as my brow-bone highlight and Dust as my inner corner highlight.
  7. For my lower lash line I used Caramelized and Nooner and blended it well with a pencil brush.
  8. For the dramatic winged eye liner I used Colour Studio Pen.
  9. To brighten my eyes I used NYX Milk in my water-line and finished the eye makeup with two coats of Mascara.
  10. Oh and I finally dared to use fake lashes. I used the Artmatic lashed with Sweet Touch Lash Adhesive. I need to practice more with fake lashes!!

Face:
  1. I mixed in half a pump of foundation in a little moisturizer and applied that to my face using my fingers. I have been using this technique recently and love how quick it applies with a smooth finish.
  2. To color correct my dark circles I used NYX corrector and patted it with my ring finger. I concealed and highlighted my under eyes with Creamy Beige and also highlighted the middle of my forehead, the bridge of my nose, cupid bow and chin and blended it all with Real Techniques Sponge.
  3. I set every where I highlighted with the Pressed Powder.
  4. To contour my face, I used the Sleek Contour Palette and used Luminoso as a Blusher. I absolutely love Luminoso, it's such a beautiful peach!!
  5. I finished the face makeup with highlighting the top of my cheek bones and bridge of my nose with the third strip in OFRA Blush Stripes.
Lips:

Option #1: For the Nude Lip I used Maybelline Color Sensational in Coffee Craze. You can read the whole review on it here.

Option #2: For a Muted Pink Lip I used Daisy Pink from Luscious Cosmetics.

Option #3: For a Bright Pink I used Antwerp from NYX. I like how smoothly it glides on.

Option #4: For a Red that is not so Red but still Red (haha), I used Raven from Colour Studio Professional. I love the matte finish. This was also in my Top Winter Favorite Lipsticks

So that is the complete makeup look for this Valentine's. I decided to do 4 lip options, Which one did you like the best? WishList - February!

Hello Beautiful!

I hope you all are having a great February and if you are a makeup junkie like me then you must have some products in your Wish List that you might wanna cross off before the million others. For me these are the ones.

1) Masarrat Misbah Makeup - Stay On Blusher - Satin Apricot.
After being hooked to Shell Bronze, I want to give this a try and from all the shades, I want the Satin Apricot for the up coming Spring. The color is a beautiful peach with a satin finish.

2) Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.
I have yet to jump on the whole Micellar Water Bandwagon but saw this one on Maleeha's SnapChat (Follow her at thatglowlife) and now I want to start out with this one. I can be lazy sometimes and this I'm sure would be very helpful for those lazy days.

3) The Balm - Meet Matt(e) Hughes - Devoted.
So I have been looking for a particular color similar to a lip gloss I have. I shared the swatches on the Pakistan Beauty Society and after I had just given up looking for it, Maleeha came up with this and a beautiful swatch for it. Hence it went straight to my WishList!

4) Colourpop Cosmetics - Ultra Matte - Trap.
I need to finally try the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick from ColourPop and after looking through a million swatches I finally decided on Trap. Gotta get this one ASAP.

5) Colourpop Cosmetics - Ultra Matte - Lumiere 2.
This is what finally made me want to give the Ultra Matte a try! Kathleen Lights came out with a Liquid Lipstick with ColourPop and it's in her shade Lumiere (which came out as a Lippie Stix before). You can find the full review and swatches for Lumiere Lippie Stix here. Gotta get the one in Liquid Lipstick form just for my fav -Kathleen!

So these are the products perched on top of my Wish List. What are yours? Don't forget to share your picks with me!

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

January Favorites!

Hello Beautiful!

I decided to share my January Favorites after a whole week of February passed! Why, you ask? Because I was posting about my Beauty Favorites of 2015 through out January :D You must check them out here!

These have been my absolute favorites to use in the month of January!

1) Real Techniques - Buffing Brush from "Core Collection".
This has been my go to brush for buffing in my foundation. This gives a smooth and streak-less finish! I love how dense enough it is to blend the foundation flawlessly. I also use it to set my T zone with pressed powder by pressing and then buffing it in in circular motions and for blending under eye concealers. It is also great to blend in cream contours. This is such a multi-tasking brush!

2) Luscious Cosmetics - Super Moisturizing Lipstick - Daisy Pink.
This is the only Lipstick I wore all through January for a Nudey Pink pout! The formula is so pigmented and creamy and it just glides right on without any tugging. Also it lasts for a good amount of time without feathering out the lip line. I have got to grab more colors in this range! I also used it in most of the tutorials I did in January which you can see here.

3) Maybelline - Color Drama Lipstick - Berry Much.
For some more color and boldness on my lips, I loved using Berry Much throughout January. It is such a gorgeous berry color. I paired Berry Much with minimum makeup looks where I just used a mascara and blush. It is also one of my Top Favorite Winter Lipstick. You can see swatches and read more details here!!

4) Rosebud Perfume Co. - Smith's Rosebud Salve.
This has been such a staple this winter and I have used nothing but this on my lips to prep them before going in with any lipstick or to keep them hydrated and moisturized. I apply it generously at night and wake up with all the dry skin peeling right off leaving behind soft and supple lips! I love it so so much!

5) Rimmel - Exaggerate Eye Definer - In The Nude:
I am suffering from Insomnia for the longest time now (every time I use the word 'insomnia' I can't help but sing Craig David's Insomnia -such an amazing song!) and so this has been an absolute favorite to put in y waterline to cancel out any redness and make the eyes look bright and well rested. Since I am all about minimum makeup looks for my everyday life, I love using this in my waterline.

6) Forever 21 - Assorted Ear Studs.
For the many events, lunches, meetings and get-togethers through out December and January, I have been reaching out for this more than I usually do. I love the assortment of ear studs here. These are perfect for when you wanna keep your jewelry and accessories  to the minimum without skipping them altogether. I have worn each of them and intend to pick more of these with different styles.

So these were my most used and loved products of January. I make sure to use something different from my collection each month than the previous.

What were your favorites for the month of January? Let me know! xo

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

My Beauty Favorites of 2015! | LIPS |

Hello Beautiful !

Finally the last part in My Beauty Favorites of 2015 post! Here I'll share all the lipsticks and lip liners that I have loved using through out 2015. Read on to find out why exactly I love each one of them.

1) Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipstick - Lady Red:
It is such a beautiful  beautiful bright Red, it's somewhere between warm and cool tone. Also the Lipstick has a satin finish and has a very creamy formula that glides on so smoothly on the lips. I love how comfortable it is to wear and it doesn't feather or bleed. I'm wearing this here.

2) Maybelline - Color Sensational Stripped Nudes - Coffee Craze:
Coffee Craze is a color of a creamy coffee with extra creme. It is neutral toned  and compliments my skin tone so much. It is my all time favorite nude lipstick. Read all about it in the review here.

3) Maybelline - Color Sensational Lipstick - Coral Tonic:
This was my first lipstick from Maybelline and I'm in loveeeee with the color!! It is a beautiful citrus-y Coral color that is perfect for Spring and Summer and I wore it all through that. Again, the formula is creamy, pigmented and has a satin finish.

4) Rimmel - Lasting Finish by Kate Moss - 106:
I wish it had a name rather than a number. The color is a beautiful bright Pink with a creamy matte formula that glides on without tugging and is so incredibly pigmented. I wore it through Spring and Summer.

5) Rimmel - Lasting Finish Lipstick - Heart Breaker:
A beautiful Raspberry color with a satin finish -perfect for transitioning from Summer to Fall. I really love the creamy and highly pigmented formula which is comfortable on the lips. I love to just wear a sheer coat of it for casual days and the full blown color for events.

6) Luscious Cosmetics - Super Moisturizing Lipstick - Daisy Pink:
This became my favorite very quickly! For everyday (I went out) use I was using Coffee Craze but ever since I started using Daisy Pink I loved how it was the perfect pink for me! Also the lipstick is so creamy and pigmented, glides on so smoothly! Now it's my favorite everyday pink!

7) Luscious Cosmetics - Ultra Smooth Lip Liner - Chai Latte:
This has been my Go To lip liner to line and fill my lips with under all the nude colors. The color has a peach tone to it and compliments brown-y, peach-y and pink-y nude colors.
It glides on smoothly without any tug.

8) Luscious Cosmetics - Ultra Smooth Lip Liner - Ruby:
This is such a beautiful color to even wear on its own! Ruby is a beautiful Red that compliments all the Red lipsticks I have. It is more of a neutral toned Red if not cool. I love how soft it is to just glide on the lips without any tugging.

It was hard narrowing down my picks more since I used and loved a lot of products in 2015! Make sure you are following me on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for swatches of these lipsticks. Let me know if you want a full review on any of the mentioned lipsticks. Also what were your favorite lipsticks from 2015?

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!
