Drugstore and Skindinavia Haul!

Hello Beautiful!

I hope you haven't gotten sick of my million haul posts lately! I'm sure though you like reading Haul posts as much as I love Hauling them ;) If you remember my Wish-List for November you'll remember most of the products in this Haul. They were listed in my November Wish-List and I was able to get all of them!! Yes! I got to cross off every item in my Wishlist and let me confess, it was the most amazing feeling!! Check out the Wish-List (here) before you continue reading this so that we can get excited together! Also so that you can understand why I wanted each of these.

I got the chance to shop directly from www.drugstore.com and www.skindinavia.com and here is...

What I Hauled:

a) Real Techniques - Miracle Complaxion Sponge- 2 Pack.
b) Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Oil Control.
c) Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Bridal.
d) Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Travel Size.

i) CoverGirl - The Super Sizer by LashBlast Mascara.
j) Milani - Baked Blush - Berry Amore.

As you might notice, I'm in a Mascara Phase nowadays! I love my Real Technique's Sponge, so I got back ups and now that I have used one for an year I am ready to do an in depth review. I have been on a hunt for a good Finishing Sprays and after skimming through endless options I finally decided on Skindinavia. I got the Bridal one for my friend.
I LOVE the formula of Milani Baked Blusher so after getting Luminoso, I picked up Berry Amore for Winters.

As mentioned before, got all these from www.drugstore.com and www.skindinavia.com mostly on discounted prices as there were sales going on. www.drugstore.com usually has sales so check that.

I was sooo excited for these to arrive! Needed a Finishing Spray for all the weddings this season! I am so glad I ordered all these and crossed them off my Wish-List finally! Let me know if you want me to review anything first from this Haul, I'd love to oblige!

Maybelline - Volum' Express The Rocket Mascara

Hello Beautiful!

Who doesn't like long thick voluminous lashes! I know I do! Mascara is what completes an eye makeup and brings it all together. Even if I'm doing a quick look I skip eye makeup but make sure I layer on my mascara. If you've been reading my posts you know I don't wear fake lashes (I have yet to try my hands on those) and so I'm always on a hunt for good mascaras that will provide me with both length and volume and also a formula that will not weigh my lashes down, specially near the inner corners. So yeah I always have high expectations and demands from a Mascara.

So I picked up Maybellline Volum'Express The Rocket Mascara without reading any reviews about it. I initially wanted the Colossal one but the word Volume and Rocket (Length = Rocket? No? Just me? Okay) caught my eye (I'm sure that's the most stupid thing you've read over the internet). So I picked this one up. When I first tried it on, I hated it! Yes! I hated how it made my lashes so thick and clumpy (not in a cute way at all). But how do I feel about it now? Read on to find out...

What Maybelline Says:

At The Back of The Pack

Ingredients:

At The Back of The Pack.

My Thoughts:

As I mentioned, the first time I tried it I did not like it at all. It made my lashes look so so clumpy and deposited more product than needed so I didn't really use it until after a month and whoa!! I don't know if it's suppose to get better over time or the formula was too thin for my liking at the beginning but whatever it was I fell in love with this mascara for sure! Let's take a look at the packaging first.

The mascara tube is quite fat, enclosed in the typical Mascara-cardboard packaging. The tube itself can be bulky for some. Also one thing that bothers me about the tube, that might not bother others, is that it does not stand as it has a very small bottom.

The formula is a little thin at the beginning but with time it dries a little and gets to the perfect consistency for lengthy voluminous lashes! I personally do not like thin formula in a Mascara or maybe I put layers after layers when I tried it for the first time. Two coats of this mascara and it gives both length and volume to my lashes. I apply it directly to my lashes without curling them and the formula doesn't weigh my lashes down.

This particular Mascara has been given much love from me. The only Mascara that I gravitated towards for a whole month before I reminded myself I have got to try and use up the others in my stash.

The wand is fat which coats each lash from bottom to top perfectly. Also I love it to coat my lower lashes. Sometimes I'll use a different Mascara for my upper lashes and grab this one for my lower lashes.

Here's how two coats of Maybelline Volum'Express The Rocket Mascara looks applied to my Lashes.

Natural Lashes:

Two Coats of Maybelline Volum'Express The Rocket Mascara:

You can see how it hasn't weighed down my lashes at the inner corner and how long it has made the lower lashes. I super love it!!!

For a super quick look I warm up my crease with Morphe Brushes Individual Eyeshadow in Caramelized (see it swatched here), layer two coats of this Mascara on my upper and lower lashes, apply a nude pencil in my water-line, rosy pink cheeks and my favorite Maybelline Lipstick Coffee Craze (reviewed and swatched here).

Will I repurchase it again? Well, I already have :D as a back up! I do not wanna run out of it!!

This mascara is definitely a 5 on 5 from me!
I got it from Naheed Supermarket. It's available on almost all the Maybelline counters and kiosks. You can also order it online from www.just4girls.pk and www.reforma.pk for Rs. 850.

Have you tried it before? What do you like the most about it? What is your tried and tested Mascara for long voluminous lashes? Don't forget to let me know in the comments section! Also, let me know if you have any questions regarding this product.

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

I Hauled! -Becca and L'OREAL.

Hello Beautiful!

Hope you all are doing well and transiting well into Winter. This haul is pretty small, actually it's just two products but I'm over the moon for finally having them in my hands! Well you can see why the excitement from the title only, can't you? So let's just jump right in!

What I Hauled?

a) Becca x Jaclyn Hill - Champagne Pop
b) L'OREAL Paris - Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara

So you know why! I've been on a fence about Champagne Pop for a long time now because I didn't want it to be a reckless purchase or an impulse buy but after reading a million (figuratively speaking) reviews I just gave in and boy oh boy I'm so glad I did!

I also have been eyeing the Telescopic Mascara for a long time now and since I have been in a mascara phase lately (which you can see from this post ) I finally got it. Haven't opened it yet because I gotta use up my opened mascaras first! Waiting to get another shipment and then thinking to do a mascara collection! Would you like that? Let me know in the comments!

Also! I finally got to cross these off from my September and October WishLists! *Alhamdulillah* (Click on the months to check the respective wish-lists)

L'OREAL Paris Telescopic is priced at around $9.00 and Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop is priced at $38.00. I got both of these from my favorite Facebook page Zensky! They have some amazing stuff in stock right now which you must check.

I'll wrap up this post here on my mini haul. Let me know how much you like your Champagne Pop? Also what are you favorite mascaras? I'd love to pick up some more!

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

WishList - November

Hello Beautiful!

I haven't gone this long (8 days since my last post) without posting, have I? I have been busy attending the Master-Class (Makeup Boot Camp) by Kiran Khan, which was amazing and I'll dedicate an entire post to my experience! After that, my Flu surprised me again and since then I've been feeling so crappy from a sore throat, flu and fever! Ugh!! ):
Well, I had my Wish-List for November ready in the first week of this month but I only got around to post this today! If you read my first ever Wish-List post (read it here) you know I share only some products out of my extensive wishlist, products I really really want and hope to buy that month and cross off my list.

Sooo here's my Wish-List for November!

1. CoverGirl - The Super Sizer by LashBlast Mascara,
I have to have it after I saw the review by Emily Noel (YouTuber). The wand looks good enough to get all the lashes specially the lower ones. I find those big wands difficult to coat my lower lashes without getting the product on my skin!

2. L'OREAL Paris - Voluminous Miss Manga Rock Mascara.
I'm sure I have seen this before but it caught my attention when I saw Kaushal (YouTuber) using this in conjunction with Maybelline Lash Sensational and it made such a huge difference, really made her lashes 'voluminous'! As I do not wear fake lashes, I'm always on a hunt for good mascaras.

3. Maybelline - Lash Sensational Mascara.
As mentioned earlier, this caught my attention after Kaushal used this and raved about it. Also it really lengthened her lashes and since then I've been wanting to get my hands on it so this month I have included it here so I finally get it and try it myself.

4. Wet n Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette - Hollywood Boulevard:
Oh I have been hooked to highlighters!! After Kathleen shared it and then the beautiful Maliha Asif, a fellow member of Pakistan Beauty Society swatched and reviewed it on her Snapchat, you must follow her on her Snapchat which is thatglowlife, she does awesome reviews, I just have to include it in my Wish-List!! This highlighter is beautiful!!! *-*

5. SKINDINAVIA - The Makeup Finishing Spray:
I have never tried a finishing/setting spray. The only time I got it sprayed on my face was for the makeup done for my Engagement and it really made my makeup last the entire event, well until I washed it off. I was really impressed and since then I have been wanting to purchase a really good setting spray and when I found out that the Urban Decay ones are made with Skindinavia I want to try the real deal!

6. Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - Liquid Eyeliner:
I love cake and gel eye liners and I have more grip and control over a brush. I have always practiced wing liners with a brush but just a few weeks back I tried this eyeliner in pen form (review coming soon) and I decided to invest in another from some other brand because I felt that pens are really quick and travel friendly. I don't have to go through the hassle of getting the brush wet (although I don't mind that but while I'm traveling it's a big NO). I have seen this being used by Kathleen a lot of times and she recommended it hence it made its way to my wishlist!

So there finally is my WishList for November. I don't know why but I'm going through a mascara phase which you clearly can see from this post. I recently went through a highlighter phase -_- Can somebody relate to this? I hope I'm not the only one!!
Don't forget to share your wishlist with me!! i can't wait to get better and get into my routine. Stay safe and healthy you guys! I feel we need to take extra care this season. I wish you all good health <3

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!
