NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream - Ibiza |Review & Swatches|

Hello Beautiful!

I have to say this right now, I love how these smell! But is there more to it? I have reviewed a shade Zurich in this line before, but does Ibiza hold the same impression for me? Read on to find out.

My Thoughts:

Packaging: It comes in a plastic bottle with a black cap that has a matte finish. The color of the bottle represents the color of the actual product. It is quite sturdy and travel friendly and the cap screws shut nice and tight. It has a doe foot applicator which is soft on the lips. I don't find it scratchy. The name of the shade is mentioned at the bottom. 

Color: Described as a "deep rose pink", on my lips it truly is a deep and bright rose pink. I love to pair it up with otherwise minimal makeup.

Scent: As mentioned before, I love love how this smells. Like a sweet Vanilla icing -YUM!

Formula & Application: With all the Liquid Lipsticks pouring in from every cosmetic brand on this planet, the only reason I'm not really big on them is because how dry they feel on the lips! I absolutely hate that feeling but with these the experience is totally opposite.

The formula is creamy and mousse like and goes on quite smooth on my lips. I'd recommend exfoliating and moisturizing your lips prior to application anyway. Unlike Zurich, this one isn't patchy at all and the applicator applies it smooth and not streaky. 

It applies opaque on the first application but i like to go over it once again sometimes before it sets.

The product sets to a smooth matte on the lips without drying them. I like how light and moisturizing it is on the lips and doesn't transfer after it sets.

Lasting Power: The longest it wore on me was for 4 hours until it started fading from um where my lips touch. The good thing is that it doesn't crack or crumble. 

Overall I really like this formula and the color and for that it gets a 5 on 5!

A Jewelry Haul & Review | Sheer Class|

I remember the time I wasn't into accessories at all except for those little butterfly catchers/clips, I'm sure all the 90s peeps here remember, I finally started out with a watch and ear-studs and now that I am into accessories I'm really in!! From bold statement pieces to delicate and dainty jewelry, but I am picky about what I wear. You wont find me all oohs and aahs over everything, I only talk about with passion what I really really like and believe in. Like I have nothing to say about Fawwad Khan or Hamza Ali Abbasi, I don't find myself going gaga over them -now please don't kill me over that, I have nothing against them haha! :D

Coming back to the topic, I am here to review an accessory brand called Sheer Class which has made it's good name within a very short amount of time and after trying their accessories from their Classy Pouch- April (read review here) I had to place an order from their drool-worthy collection! Let's see what I have to say about each of the pieces I got in my haul. This is a haul and review, combined in one post.

What I Hauled and My Thoughts:

1) 18K Gold Plated Faux Pearl & Cubic Zirconia Exquisite Pendant Set.

This set is a class on it own! I love how beautiful and unique the pendant and ear-studs are, how the pearl is set in midst of the gorgeous band! I absolutely love love pearls and this one is so unique. One can either wear the whole set to a party or a wedding or like me can wear either of the pendant or studs to accessorize without going overboard, I specially like to wear the pendant for lunch-outs and ear-studs for dinner. I'm also very very impressed with the high quality of this.

Price: Rs. 1499.

2) 18 K gold Plated Tear Drop Cubic Zirconia Jumbo Solitaire Pendant Set.

I am in love with this set!!!! Oh my! High quality and so so beautiful! I actually wore the studs for two days straight! Yes I love these so much, I also wore the pendant for the whole day and it looks so pretty without looking 'too much'. It's pretty, delicate and perfect for daily wear. I wore this on a lunch and got a lot of compliments.
Despite of the long wear, I didn't experience any oxidizing although jewelry oxidizes on me very fast. I also have a little trick up my sleeve to avoid that which I'll let you all know at the end of this post. If there is one thing you want to get from Sheer Class, it's this, it's a MUST HAVE for good reasons!

3) 18 K gold Plated Ring with center Faux Pearl studded with Cubic Zirconia Double Band.

I ordered this for my Mom as she loves wearing rings and she loved this one so much that she kept it in her rings-for-big-events stash! She has all her favorite and classy rings in that set. That says a lot about how much she liked it. 
It has a beautiful big pearl in center of two Zirconia studded bands and a beautifully carved ring band. I'm going to post a picture on my social media as soon as my mom wears it for an upcoming event. 
I'm very happy with the high quality of this beautiful ring.

4) 18K Gold Plated Bracelet with Cubic Zirconia.

I hardly wear anything around my wrists other than my wrist watch but this bracelet changed that, Not that it has replaced my watch but I now like to wear it along with the watch and as it's so delicate it pairs up beautifully with other wrist accessories. I love how delicate and high quality this is.

Safety Tip: Paint/coat your jewelry with a clear Nail Top Coat, let it dry completely before using. It provides a barrier between your skin and the alloy/paint to avoid any blackening or oxidizing. As the Top Coat is clear it doesn't alter the color and shine of the jewelry.

I'm so excited about this post! If you saw the recent pictures and activity on my Instagram and Facebook (which you should *wink*) you must know what The Classy Pouch is and why exactly I'm excited about this post. So I received my first Classy Pouch from Sheer Class yesterday and want to share the unboxing and first impressions of it with all of you. Before that let me fill you in about what exactly The Classy Pouch is.

Unboxing and First Impression:

The Classy Pouch reached me the very next day after it was dispatched so I was super impressed with the delivery. It came packed in a box which assured me of the safe transit. Let's get to the unboxing part which is really exciting for me.

The Pouch is in Green color as it was launched on 23rd March i.e. Pakistan Day. Sheer Class Tag and a little hand written card by Saadiah (which I found very sweet) was attached to the pouch. 

Inside the pouch the contents were all wrapped up in Plastic which was covered in Crepe Paper and Ribbon. 

Now to the fun part -unwrapping the surprises.

1- Platinum Coated Rings Set.

The first thing I unwrapped was this beautiful set of Rings which included Midi Rings! I have been into Midi Rings lately and I'm so glad I received this. The rings are exactly how I prefer, not over the top but delicate and a little edgy. They set perfectly around my fingers, I mostly don't find rings my size in the markets as they stock them sized 16 and up and me being a 14.5 never find a good match. These rings were an exception and fit me well. I'll definitely be wearing them a lot.

2- Statement Square Pendant:

It's a beautiful golden long-chained Hollow Square Pendant, filled with crystals. I absolutely loveeee this pendant!!! I love love bold and boho-chic statement necklaces as much as I love delicate pieces and this pendant here is both delicate in terms of the long chain and a 3D Hollowed Square Pendant which is definitely a statement piece. I love this one so much and will be pairing it up with my plain colored tops and shirts -it'll look so cool!

3- Nail Art Self-Adhesive Decals.

I have always wanted to try these because they are so effortless, just paint your nails, stick some of these on and layer on a top coat to seal everything and viola, perfectly decorated nails! I like the theme on this set, it's cute and pretty with flowers and bows and the Eiffel Tower!! *_*  I wore two of these immediately and loved it! They are still going strong without a Top Coat and even survived a shower! Yes they stick pretty good, not even a part of it came off! Also it's so affordable that you can stock them up.

4- Statement Metal Bracelet.

Now this is what you call a Bold Statement Piece. This would look perfect with an all Black attire. I was specially impressed with the good quality clasp on this one. It's unlike those cheap loose clasps, this one shuts securely. There's nothing in it which might not be comfortable. I love the look and feel of it. 
On The Edge Turquoise Metal Clasp Bracelet is available separately for Rs. 650.

Luscious Cosmetics - Super Moisturizing Lipstick - Daisy Pink.

I'm here with another lipstick review. I reviewed Masarrat Misbah Makeup Lip Varnish in Lust previously. This time it's Luscious Cosmetics Super Moisturizing Lipstick in Daisy Pink. You must have seen this lipstick popping up on my Instagram from time to time and I also used it in a couple of Makeup Looks which I will link at the end of this post. 

What Luscious Cosmetics says?

Luscious Cosmetics offers 23 beautiful shades that range from nudes to vibrant colors in the Super Moisturizing line.

My Thoughts:

Packaging: It comes in a black card-board packaging. I love the sleek silver expensive-looking cylindrical lipstick bullet. The lipstick doesn't feel cheap or plastic-y at all and the cap clasps shut with a click. The shade name is mentioned on a sticker at the bottom. It's travel friendly for sure.

Color: It is described as a "delicate nude pink". On my lips, it's a beautiful mauve-y pink. The shade is perfect for everyday wear. It looks so sophisticated for office and work use and gives just the perfect pink color to the lips. The color pairs up perfectly with subtle and dramatic eye makeup.

Scent: There is no distinct or strong smell. It just slightly slightlyyyy smells plastic-y but that is very very subtle and dissipates after application. 

Formula & Application: It's exactly what it's called, a super moisturizing lipstick with amazing pigmentation that goes on opaque in one swipe! I pretty much summed up the formula and application, didn't I? 
It is a creamy and moisturizing formula that has a satin finish and feels so comfortable on the lips, doesn't emphasize the dry patches and settle much into the fine lines. One swipe is all you need for opaqueness although I like to go over my lips twice and it glides on smoothly. It doesn't get patchy at all no matter how many layers I put. The pigmentation is incredible!

Lasting Power: This lipstick has lasted for 3 hours on me after which it faded somewhat evenly with it getting lightest on the inner rim. It disappears from my lips if I eat but that's what mostly happens with most my lipsticks. Creamy and moisturizing formulas usually don't last that long and I don't mind re-applying it as I just love how much the color compliments me!

I would rate this 5 on 5 because this has become my absolute favorite really fast and I have been wearing it almost every day the past two months! I have found my favorite pink with this lipstick!

Rosebud Perfume Co. - Smith's Rosebud Salve.

Lip Balms have always been an absolute favorite lip product of mine. They are a staple in my daily skin care routine. Growing up Labello and Nivea was all I used for lip balms but last year I decided to branch out and try some new brands. I came across Smith's Rosebud Salve on a post where Wafa Khan had shared her favorite lip balms and out of the bunch I decided to go for Rosebud Perfume Co.

I have been using this Smith's Rosebud Salve since November'15 and I'm now ready to present you with a complete and detailed review.

My Thoughts:

Although a Rosebud salve is used in many ways but I have reviewed it as a lip balm as I have been using this product for 4 months now and have only used it as a lip balm/treatment.

Packaging: The product comes in a round sturdy tin case. The cap pull/twists open which gets a little tough with my sweaty hands. The print on the case doesn't fade over time (so far 4 months of daily use). The packaging is travel-friendly and I have personally traveled with it. I find it safer than tubes as the later is prone to compressing and leaking.

Color & Scent: The Salve is a pretty pink-red in the tin but almost transparent on the lips. It has a very subtle scent of roses and petroleum jelly that dissipates on application.

Formula & Application: I love the balmy, smooth and emollient texture of the balm. I started using it when my lips were in dire need of extra moisture. I was using lip balms but for some reason, due to weather and dehydration, my lips became extremely dry. I started using it in place of my other balms and within two days I could feel my lips getting better. I started using it religiously, in the morning, at night and in between, I re-applied it after every two hours and also used it underneath lipsticks. Within two weeks my lips were soft, supple and smooth.

As the texture is balmy it glides on smoothly on the lips and gets absorbed in over time. It can easily be layered under and top of any lipstick as it doesn't have a color of it's own.

I treated my lips using it in conjunction with e.l.f Lip Exfoliator. I apply it in the mornings after exfoliating my lips and then re-apply every two hours. At night I apply a thick layer and wake up with all the dry skin peeling right off leaving behind soft and supple lips.

I'm extremely happy and satisfied with this balm and will definitely repurchase it.

I rate this a 5 on 5 for how effective it is.
