Silver Glittery Winter Glam | Makeup Look

Hello Beautiful!

I recently asked all the lovely ladies what kind of "Winter" Makeup Look would they want me to do and some of you replied with a Silver eye look along with Winter Day Time/Neutral Looks, so I decided to do a more glam look before doing a day time look!

I did a Silver glittery eye makeup and paired it up with a Muted Pink Lipstick. I usually do more warm eye looks but this time I did a cool-toned eye makeup as I felt it'll compliment the Silver more. Also I did a completely different foundation routine, for this look, than I usually do and it turned out pretty good!

As always I'll try to keep the steps precise!

Products Used:

Face:
Tools Used:
  • Real Techniques Blush Brush.
  • e.l.f Studio Blush Brush.
  • e.l.f. Kabuki Brush.
  • Angled Contour Brush.

Eyes:
  • Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - 15.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Peach Glow.
  • Makeup Revolution - Eyeshadow Palette- Iconic 2. [Dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 2]
  • Christine - Glitter Pot - Silver.
  • e.l.f Makeup Mist and Set.
  • Color Studio Professional Hypno Black Eye Marker.
  • NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk.
  • Maybelline Rocket Volum'Express Mascara.
Tools Used:
  • Morphe Brushes Blending Brush MB23.
  • Color Studio Professional Blending Brush.
  • e.l.f Shader Brush.
  • A pencil Brush

Lips:
  • Luscious Cosmetics Super Moisturizing Lipstick in Daisy Pink.

Steps:

Eyes:
  1. After priming my eyes with Fit Me Concealer up to the brown-bone, I set it with the Pressed Powder.
  2. For the transition color I blended in the 5th (from the Left) shade [UD Tease] with MB 23. I layered and blended this shade until I was happy with the intensity. I used it as a transition shade initially so kept it light and diffused.
  3. With a denser blending brush like the Color Studio Blending Brush I buffed in the same shade into my crease and the outer corners, building up the color and blending the edges with MB23. I did it a few times until the edges were soft and diffused while my crease and outer corners were darker but blended.
  4. With a shader brush I applied the 9th (from the Left) shade [UD Verve] to my lids and further packed it with elf mist and set for that foiled look. Spray e.l.f Mist and Set on any shimmery or glittery eyeshadow to immediatey intensify the pigmentation.
  5. With Color Studio Brush I blended the creases.
  6. With a flat shader brush sprayed with Mist and Set, I picked up the Glitter from the pot and patted it on the center of the lids.
  7.  (Okay Gul, enough with the with-s!) I lined my waterline with NYX Milk and smoked by lower lash line with the same crease shade with a pencil brush.
  8. After applying a rather long winged-eyeliner, I coated my lashes using Maybelline The Rocket Mascara.
  9. I also applied a bit of the Silver eyeshadow on inner corners of the lower lash line.

Face:
  1. I mixed the moisturizer and foundation in 2:1 ratio and applied that all over my face and neck with my fingers. I wasn't able to use 123 Perfect in this season as it emphasized my dry patches but with this technique I loved the finish -comfortable and not completely matte on the face, rather it had a healthy looking glow.
  2. I set my foundation lightly with pressed powder so that other powders (such as blusher & contour etc) could blend easily on top.
  3. I contoured my face using the Sleek Palette with an Angled Brush.
  4. I used my Holy Grail Blusher on my cheeks (duh) and highlighted the high points like the top of my cheeks, bridge of the nose and cupid's bow with Champagne Pop. It was hard to stop bathing in Champagne Pop!

Lips:
  1. I had already prepped my lips with Rosebud Salve when I started with my eyes.
  2. For lipstick I applied Daisy Pink by Luscious Cosmetics. It is such a beautiful everyday muted pink color!

So here's the Silver Glittery Winter Glam Makeup Look! (and that was a mouthful!). I really like how the eye makeup turned out, it sparkled more than it has come out in the pictures. This is definitely a party/night out look but if this is Day Time for you then, well you know, you do you boo! I'll do a more Day Time/Natural Winter look in a week's time.

I would love to see how you recreate this and don't forget to share it with me with the hash-tag #gulezehrasblog! Also tag me in your Winter Makeup Looks!! I would love to see what you talented ladies come up with!

Did 2015 not go so fast?! Don't we say that for almost every year? Haha but no seriously 2015 really went by so quick, at least for me. So here's a Makeup Look For New Year or New Year's Eve! As it's all about Glitter and Sparkle for New Year, I did glittery eyes where as kept my lips Pinky Nude, You can definitely pair this look with a bold Red Lipstick to make it look more festive!

  • e.l.f. Kabuki Brush.

  • e.l.f Mineral Eye Primer.

  • Too Faced Chocolate Bar - Salted Caramel, Triple Fudge and Champagne Truffle.
  • Morphe Brushes Individual Eye Shadow in Caramelized and Creme Brule.
  • Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadow - 14.
  • Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner - Midnight Cowboy.
  • Color Studio Professional Hypno Black Eye Marker.
  • NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil - Milk.
  • L'oreal Paris Telescopic Mascara - Carbon Black.
  • Maybelline Rocket Volum'Express Mascara.
Tools Used:
  • Morphe Brushes Blending Brush MB23.
  • e.l.f. Blending Brush.
  • Color Studio Professional Blending Brush.
  • e.l.f Shader Brush.
  • A pencil Brush
  • An Angled Blending Brush
Lips
  • Luscious Cosmetics Ultra Smooth Lip Liner in Chai Latte.
  • Luscious Cosmetics Super Moisturizing Lipstick in Daisy Pink.

Steps:

Eyes:
  1. After priming my eyes I set them with Stay Matte Pressed Powder so that rest of the eyeshadows can blend easily.
  2. With Morphe MB23 I blended Salted Caramel as my transition color, on and above my crease.
  3. With e.l.f blending brush which is smaller than the Morphe one, I blended Caramelized into my crease. With MB23 I blended the two colors together.
  4.  I blended Creme Brule on the outer corners of my eyes, with an angled blending brush, and took it into my crease and blended everything again with MB23.
  5. On Color Studio Blending Brush I packed and blended Triple Fudge on the outer part of my eyes.
  6. I blended my crease again with a little Salted Caramel on MB23.
  7. I used Champagne Truffle with a little Fix Plus to highlight the brow-bone area.
  8. With the shader brush I packed the Inglot Pigment on to my lids and blended it into the Triple Fudge. To make the pigment adhere to my lid I used it with Fix plus.
  9. On my lower lash line, I blended Caramelized with a pencil brush and lined my water-line with Milk.
  10. After creating a winged-eyeliner I coated my lashes, first with Telescopic and then with The Rocket Mascara.
  11. I finished the eye makeup with the Glitter Liner on the inner part of my lid and a little on my inner corners (be careful with that though, it irritated my eyes as I put it too close to my inner rim and so I had to clean it therefore it looks a little untidy).

Face:
  1. After moisturizing my face I primed it with the Poreless Primer concentrating and patting it near my nose and on nose and spreading the rest all over my face.
  2. I buffed in my foundation with the Buffing Brush.and set it with Rimmel Stay matte Powder.
  3. For my blush I used Milani's Luminoso with Real Technique's Blush Brush. It's such a gorgeous shade! I used it for the first time!!
  4. Highlighted my cheekbones with Hollywood Boulevard and applied a little on the bridge of my nose (but not the tip of the nose).
  5. At the very end I sprayed the Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray!
Lips:
  1. I lined my Lips with Chai Latte and filled them in a little.
  2. For Lipstick I used Daisy Pink by Luscious Cosmetics. It's such a beautiful muted pink.
To make the makeup last all night I used the e.l.f's Poreless Primer at the beginning and finished th whole look with a spray of Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray. This combination has made my makeup last through all the weddings this month!

So here's the final look! I really love how it turned out with the sparkly eyes and the muted pink lips. You can definitely use more glitter on the lower lash line, I didn't because for some reason my eyes were very sensitive that day also I did a look recently where I lined my lower lash line with glitter. You can check that here. That is even perfect for New Year, if you don't want a lot of Glitter. Definitely check my Quick Holiday Look!

Anyway, I hope you like this look. I definitely loved it! The eyes were so sparkly!! Let me know what you plan to do on the New Year's eve and don't forget to share your Makeup Looks with me using #gulezehrasblog.

Hello beautiful!

As Fall has officially started for me I decided to say farewell to summers with a Makeup Look! I wanted to do a bright makeup look with a colored eye-liner and a bright pink pout and this is what I came up with. It's really easy with the warm eye makeup and colored liner and a bright pink pout. I am in loveee with the results and I hope you'd love it too! Oh! If you decide to recreate this look, don't forget to share it with me by using the hash-tag #gulezehrasblog. I would LOVE to see your take on it (:

Tools Used:
Lips:
  • Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte by Kate in 106
  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Zurich. (Reviewed here.)
Steps:

Eyes:
  1. After priming my eyes and setting them with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder just so the other shades can blend easily, I started with Morphe Caramelized in my crease and blended it well.
  2. With an e.l.f shader brush I packed Toasted on my entire eye lid. With a little Caramelized on the blending brush I blended my crease so that both the lid color and crease color can blend in.
  3. On an angled blending brush I packed Creme Brule on the outer corners of my eyes and blended it into the lid color. I also took it a little into the crease.
  4. With a clean blending brush I blended my crease well again so that there are no harsh lines and it all looks well blended.
  5. With the Sweet Touch eye-liner pencil I lined my upper lashes and created a soft wing.
  6. On an angled liner brush I packed the B.A.M eye shadow onto the liner I applied with the pencil to make the green color more vibrant.
  7. I finished the eye makeup with two coats of mascara and NYX Milk in my waterline.

Face:
  1. After moisturizing my face with L'oreal Hydrating Gel, I applied the foundation with the Miracle Complexion Sponge. I love love this sponge! It blends the foundation like a dream!
  2. For my under eye concealer I used Maybelline Fit Me concealer, drawing it in a V shape under my eyes to highlight and conceal. With the sponge I blended it well.
  3. I set the concealer with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder on e.l.f tapered brush.
  4. Using the Contour shade from the Sleek Contour Palette, I contoured my face ever so lightly with Real Techniques Contour Brush.
  5. For blush I used my Holy Grail Shell Bronze with Real Techniques blush brush and highlighted the high-points such as the tops of my cheeks, the bridge of my nose, cupid's bow and chin with e.l.f blush gems with e.l.f studio blush brush.
  6. I set my entire face and blended everything with Rimmel Pressed Powder on Real Techniques Powder Brush.
  7. At the end I applied Rimmel Lipstick and topped it with NYX Zurich.

I loved the final look and how it turned out. The green paired up beautifully with the bright pink lips. I would love to hear your feedback and don't forget to use the hash-tag #gulezehrasblog if you do re-create this look! I would love to see <3
