January Favorites!
Hello Beautiful!
I decided to share my January Favorites after a whole week of February passed! Why, you ask? Because I was posting about my Beauty Favorites of 2015 through out January :D You must check them out here!
These have been my absolute favorites to use in the month of January!
1) Real Techniques - Buffing Brush from "Core Collection".
This has been my go to brush for buffing in my foundation. This gives a smooth and streak-less finish! I love how dense enough it is to blend the foundation flawlessly. I also use it to set my T zone with pressed powder by pressing and then buffing it in in circular motions and for blending under eye concealers. It is also great to blend in cream contours. This is such a multi-tasking brush!
2) Luscious Cosmetics - Super Moisturizing Lipstick - Daisy Pink.
This is the only Lipstick I wore all through January for a Nudey Pink pout! The formula is so pigmented and creamy and it just glides right on without any tugging. Also it lasts for a good amount of time without feathering out the lip line. I have got to grab more colors in this range! I also used it in most of the tutorials I did in January which you can see here.
3) Maybelline - Color Drama Lipstick - Berry Much.
For some more color and boldness on my lips, I loved using Berry Much throughout January. It is such a gorgeous berry color. I paired Berry Much with minimum makeup looks where I just used a mascara and blush. It is also one of my Top Favorite Winter Lipstick. You can see swatches and read more details here!!
4) Rosebud Perfume Co. - Smith's Rosebud Salve.
This has been such a staple this winter and I have used nothing but this on my lips to prep them before going in with any lipstick or to keep them hydrated and moisturized. I apply it generously at night and wake up with all the dry skin peeling right off leaving behind soft and supple lips! I love it so so much!
5) Rimmel - Exaggerate Eye Definer - In The Nude:
I am suffering from Insomnia for the longest time now (every time I use the word 'insomnia' I can't help but sing Craig David's Insomnia -such an amazing song!) and so this has been an absolute favorite to put in y waterline to cancel out any redness and make the eyes look bright and well rested. Since I am all about minimum makeup looks for my everyday life, I love using this in my waterline.
6) Forever 21 - Assorted Ear Studs.
For the many events, lunches, meetings and get-togethers through out December and January, I have been reaching out for this more than I usually do. I love the assortment of ear studs here. These are perfect for when you wanna keep your jewelry and accessories to the minimum without skipping them altogether. I have worn each of them and intend to pick more of these with different styles.
So these were my most used and loved products of January. I make sure to use something different from my collection each month than the previous.
What were your favorites for the month of January? Let me know! xo
Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

I am on a self imposed No-Buy-Makeup ban now as I gotta use up and start using what I have and also save for soon to be released makeup goodies like the Too Faced Sweet Peaches Palette!
Don't forget to share your 2015 favorites with me in the comments. Also if any of these were also your favorites let me know.
I'll post a detailed favorites on the categories next starting with Face then Eyes and then Lips, so stay tuned for that.
Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

October Favorites!
Hello beautiful!
Just two months to 2015 -let that sink in! Just two months! Where did the time go?
As we start with the dry and cool November, it's time to share my favorites from October. I did not get to play with makeup so much except for when I did the Halloween Looks! I was the Half Skull, The Thirsty Vampire and Stitched Up Insanity. After all the crazy Halloween Makeup I had to give my skin the much needed care and rest.
To try to keep it minimal, here's what I used the most and loved!
Colour Pop eyeshadows have a texture of their own, wet and mousse-y to touch but has a powdery finish. Fairfax is a dark dark dark brown. It's described as a black brown on the website. I have been using it as a smudged eyeliner at the top lash line and it looks so cool! That is mostly what I did every time I wore makeup in October.
2. Nivea Body Lotion - Sensual Musk
The only time I use lotions for my body is in Autumn and Winter. I bought this back in July solely for its fragrance. I love love how it smells, I'm into musky fragrances. This not only smells good but kept my skin hydrated without feeling greasy -and that's all I want from a moisturizer, hydrating without being greasy. I have used it all through October and keeping it near throughout Autumn and Winter.
3. Amarante - One Last Time
I first came across this in a Kathleen Light's video and the music just stuck to my mind. There was something so soothing about it. When I finally found it on soundcloud, that's all I listened to. Amarante has such a beautiful variety of songs and there is some depth to each one of em -their lyrics and the music. This one in particular is my favorite!! I can't stop listening to it!! You must listen to it here and tell me if you liked it.
4. L'oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 Cream
I use this religiously every night in Fall and Winter. In Summer, I use it on alternate days. I also like to use this under my foundation. This hydrates my skin so well without leaving it greasy. This gets rid of all the dry patches and leave my skin feeling soft, supple and hydrated. I'll do a full review on this for sure!
5. Kryolan Cake Eyeliner - Black
I used this a lot for my Halloween looks (see them here) and did all my winged eyeliners with it. I found it so easy to use. just a little water to make it creamy and it glides on so smoothly. I was able to create some really precise winged lines with this amazing product!
6. Real Techniques - Miracle Complexion Sponge
This has to be my favorite for every month because this is what I use mostly for my foundation and blending the concealers! It blends so flawlessly giving that airbrushed look to the skin! It definitely is a steal for its price and the closest possible dupe for Beauty Blender. In fact according to Kathleen Lights and Jaclyn Hill, it performs exactly like the Beauty Blender! It's a staple in my makeup kit!
I wanted to do dome Fall looks but after the Halloween makeup my skin just couldn't take more makeup so I'll definitely do a Fall makeup look this month. Let me know if you want to see any specific makeup look, I am not a makeup artist but will try my best (:
Let me know what were your favorites for the month of October? You know I love hearing from you guys <3

If you decide to recreate this look, don't forget to share it with me by using the hash-tag #gulezehrasblog. I would LOVE to see your take on it (:

Eyes:
- After priming my eyes and setting them with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder just so the other shades can blend easily, I started with Morphe Caramelized in my crease and blended it well.
- With an e.l.f shader brush I packed Toasted on my entire eye lid. With a little Caramelized on the blending brush I blended my crease so that both the lid color and crease color can blend in.
- On an angled blending brush I packed Creme Brule on the outer corners of my eyes and blended it into the lid color. I also took it a little into the crease.
- With a clean blending brush I blended my crease well again so that there are no harsh lines and it all looks well blended.
- With the Sweet Touch eye-liner pencil I lined my upper lashes and created a soft wing.
- On an angled liner brush I packed the B.A.M eye shadow onto the liner I applied with the pencil to make the green color more vibrant.
- I finished the eye makeup with two coats of mascara and NYX Milk in my waterline.
Face:
- After moisturizing my face with L'oreal Hydrating Gel, I applied the foundation with the Miracle Complexion Sponge. I love love this sponge! It blends the foundation like a dream!
- For my under eye concealer I used Maybelline Fit Me concealer, drawing it in a V shape under my eyes to highlight and conceal. With the sponge I blended it well.
- I set the concealer with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder on e.l.f tapered brush.
- Using the Contour shade from the Sleek Contour Palette, I contoured my face ever so lightly with Real Techniques Contour Brush.
- For blush I used my Holy Grail Shell Bronze with Real Techniques blush brush and highlighted the high-points such as the tops of my cheeks, the bridge of my nose, cupid's bow and chin with e.l.f blush gems with e.l.f studio blush brush.
- I set my entire face and blended everything with Rimmel Pressed Powder on Real Techniques Powder Brush.
- At the end I applied Rimmel Lipstick and topped it with NYX Zurich.
I loved the final look and how it turned out. The green paired up beautifully with the bright pink lips. I would love to hear your feedback and don't forget to use the hash-tag #gulezehrasblog if you do re-create this look! I would love to see <3

Coral Love - Makeup of The Day (MOTD)
Hello beautiful!
As we all know Fall is right around the corner and for some it has already arrived. So before Summer is finally over for me I wanted to do something bright and coral! I have been loving corals so much this summer! For the makeup look today I went for warm shimmery eyes with a slight hint of peach in the crease and my favorite coral lipstick on the lips(of course!). I'm still a beginner when it comes to applying makeup but I try to do my best (:

Lips:
- Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Coral Tonic.
Steps:
Eyes:
- After priming my eyes and setting them with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder just so the other shades can blend easily, I started blending the Peach Shade from Mikyajy Palette into my crease with Morphe MB23. I kept building the color little by little blending it well so there are no harsh lines until I was happy with the color or the intensity.
- Next I blended Caramelized into the crease layering it over the Peach shade for more warmth.
- I blended more with a clean MB 23 so that there are no harsh lines and it all looks blended.
- With a shader brush I started packing Golden Lights on the lid, it looks so beautiful packed on, you can also use Fix Plus to intensify the color.
- For more dimension I packed in a little Creme Brule on the outer corners and took it little into the crease but not all the way in. I kept it just on the outer corners of my eyes and blended it well so there are no harsh lines.
- With an angled blending brush I applied Golden Lights as my brow-bone and inner corner highlight.
- With Caramelized on a pencil brush I blended it well on the lower lash line.
- After doing a winged eye liner and smudging the same on the lower lash line I applied two coats of mascara to my upper and bottom lashes.
- Finished the eye makeup with NYX Milk on my waterline.
- I moisturized my face with L'oreal Hydrating Gel and after letting it sink in for 10 minutes I applied my foundation on my face and neck with the Real Techniques Sponge in a stippling and tapping motion for that flawless finish.
- For my under eye concealer I used the LA Pro Concealer and also highlighted with it on the bridge of my nose, between my eye brows, the cupid's bow and a little on my chin and blended it all with the Real Techniques Sponge.
- I set the places I had applied the concealer with Rimmel Pressed Powder on e.l.f Studio Tapered Brush.
- Using the Contour shade from the Sleek Contour Palette, I contoured my face ever so lightly with Real Techniques Contour Brush.
- For my blush I used Shell Bronze for I'm currently obsessed with this blusher and highlighted my face with e.l.f blush gems with e.l.f studio blush brush
- I set my face and blended everything with Real Techniques Powder Brush with a little Rimmel Pressed Powder on it.
- At the end I applied my favorite lipstick Coral Tonic from Maybelline on my lips and we're finished with the makeup look (:
I hope you like this makeup look, I absolutely loved it, the soft shimmery eyes paired with a bright coral lipstick. Until the Fall is really not upon us we can still rock a bright coral lipstick or if you want, even in the Autumn, you do you boo! *wink*
Oh and that statement necklace is from Nishat Linen, it was love at first sight! :D
Let me know what you think about this makeup look and if you would want to see more, I love doing them! Hope you all have a great day!
Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

August Favorites!
Hi there!
Can't believe it's September already! It sounds cliche but time flies so fast and it's already time for my favorites for the month of August. Now I haven't been very active in August when it came to applying makeup -thanks to my Jaundice. I couldn't go out much and trips to hospital don't count because I couldn't obviously wear makeup there -all I tried was not vomit all the way there, but I've been better.
Now as much as I did use and play around with my makeup, I reached for some more than the rest and so here I am with those.
1. e.l.f Studio Blush Brush:
Although it's a blush brush I use it for applying my highlighters. It's great for packing the highlighter to your high points because of it's size and how it's tapered. Also a sheer layer can be applied by tapping off the excess product. It picks up just the right product and dabs on and blends the highlighter beautifully on the skin, Whether the product is pressed or baked, this brush works incredibly well with both. I'm really impressed with how soft and well made it is and it hasn't shed even once even after 5 washes.
You can purchase it here.
2. Real Techniques - Blush Brush:
I had been on a hunt of a good blush brush from quite some time and I'm so glad I got this because this is great! I haven't touched any other brush to apply my blush with after this. It's perfect, PERFECT, I tell you! Picks up just the right product, great at packing the product onto the skin and blends like a dream! The bristles are tapered and s incredibly soft! I have washed it for like 8 times now and it has not shed even once! This was my first ever brush from Real Techniques and I'm in love with it!!! It works beautifully with baked and pressed and loose powders. I think you will need something more dense and flat for cream and liquid blusher. I have never tried cream or liquid blushers anyway.
You can purchase it here.
3. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder - Peach Glow:
I sweat profusely and have combination skin and this helps me keep my combination skin matte. I also like to set my under eye concealer and eye primer with it. This dusted over with my face with a large powder brush and I'm good to go! This is the only product I've hit pan on and I'll for sure buy it again! It's my staple, my Holy Grail!
You can purchase it here.
4. Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick - Heart Breaker:
This is such a gorgeous shade! Putting this on somehow brightens my face and day! I usually apply it with the pad of my ring finger for a sheer wash of color and directly from the bullet when I want the full opacity. It's such a gorgeous reddish-pink raspberry shade and makes me feel so confident as soon as I put it on!
You can purchase it here.
5. MorpheBrushes - MB23 Round Blender:
I'll do an in-depth review on this soon along with another brush from Morphe Brushes. It'll be enough to say, at the moment, that I'm in love with how it blends the eyeshadows FLAWLESSLY and it's so so soft!
You can purchase it here.
I'd love to know what were your favorites from the month of August! Also let me know if you want an in-dept review on any of the above (:
Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!
