I Hauled! -Becca and L'OREAL.

Hello Beautiful!

Hope you all are doing well and transiting well into Winter. This haul is pretty small, actually it's just two products but I'm over the moon for finally having them in my hands! Well you can see why the excitement from the title only, can't you? So let's just jump right in!

What I Hauled?

a) Becca x Jaclyn Hill - Champagne Pop
b) L'OREAL Paris - Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara

So you know why! I've been on a fence about Champagne Pop for a long time now because I didn't want it to be a reckless purchase or an impulse buy but after reading a million (figuratively speaking) reviews I just gave in and boy oh boy I'm so glad I did!

I also have been eyeing the Telescopic Mascara for a long time now and since I have been in a mascara phase lately (which you can see from this post ) I finally got it. Haven't opened it yet because I gotta use up my opened mascaras first! Waiting to get another shipment and then thinking to do a mascara collection! Would you like that? Let me know in the comments!

Also! I finally got to cross these off from my September and October WishLists! *Alhamdulillah* (Click on the months to check the respective wish-lists)

L'OREAL Paris Telescopic is priced at around $9.00 and Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop is priced at $38.00. I got both of these from my favorite Facebook page Zensky! They have some amazing stuff in stock right now which you must check.

I'll wrap up this post here on my mini haul. Let me know how much you like your Champagne Pop? Also what are you favorite mascaras? I'd love to pick up some more!

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

e.l.f. Baked Highlighters - Blush Gems & Moonlight Pearls

Hello Beautiful!

I finally decided to brave my fever and flu and review the e.l.f. Baked Highlighters! I first came across e.l.f on one of my favorite Youtuber's channel. They are actually the first of the brands I started out with and with their extremely reasonable and inexpensive prices I just went all out when I first hauled them. You can check my first ever e.l.f haul here!
There are three highlighters or colors in the Baked Highlighter line. Moonlight Pearls, Blush Gems and Pink Diamonds. Moonlight Pearls is a white champagne color. Blush Gems is -hard to describe- a rose-gold champagne color with slight pink undertone to it. Pink Diamonds is a silvery pink color.
I have never really tried pink highlighters so I don't know if they will suit my skin. I am NC/NW 25 (yes I recently found out I have neutral undertones) so I got Moonlight Pearls and Blush Gems. Blush Gems is also know as a dupe for the famous MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft and Gentle.

What Does e.l.f Says?

My Thoughts:

The Baked Highlighters come in a plastic packaging which is sturdy and very travel friendly. I know because I always travel with my Blush Gems. The lid clasps shut with a *click* which I feel very satisfied about. Also the lid is transparent so that you can see the product inside and has a black base with the product name and code stuck at the bottom.

Blush Gems and Moonlight Pearls

It is a baked product so can be used wet and dry. Although it looks a little glittery in the pan but it has no glitter whatsoever. In fact on the skin it has a nice glow and sheen to it with very fine shimmer that stays in place and not really fall out to make you look like a disco ball and that's exactly what I want from a highlighter!
The product is soft to touch with that 'baked' feeling to it (you know that rough kinda touch to it) but it swatches beautifully! Also the formula is so soft and blendable not to forget the awesome pigmentation! Be ready for an intense metallic finish if you use it wet! I don't have any visible pores so don't find this maximizing my pores or anything.

Blush Gems and Moonlight Pearls

Top: Moonlight Pearls. Bottom: Blush Gems

Blush Gems is a beautiful rose-gold champagne with pink undertones to it that will look amazing on medium fair to dark complexions.

Moonlight Pearls is a straight up gold champagne that will look beautiful on fair to medium fare skin. Although medium skin tones can still wear it as an inner corner highlight which looks very pretty!

I am so glad I tried these. Blush Gems is definitely my go-to highlighter and the highlighter I have traveled with the most! I will definitely repurchase it if I ever run out of it (which is near to impossible for the amount of product it has). Also Blush Gems is a very pretty blush topper too without it altering the blush color.

I rate these highlighters a 5 on 5! Super pigmented, soft, sheen, no glitter, build-able and blend-able! I'm in love with these <3

I feel only some products get a 5 on 5 from me, only those that I truly love and believe in!
Let me know if you have tried or own these and how do you find them? Also have you tried Pink Diamonds? Did you like it? Let me know in the comments <3

I got these from e.l.f's website for $3 (YES!!!). e.l.f doesn't ship to Pakistan but you can order them through Zensky (my favorite!)!

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

WishList - November

Hello Beautiful!

I haven't gone this long (8 days since my last post) without posting, have I? I have been busy attending the Master-Class (Makeup Boot Camp) by Kiran Khan, which was amazing and I'll dedicate an entire post to my experience! After that, my Flu surprised me again and since then I've been feeling so crappy from a sore throat, flu and fever! Ugh!! ):
Well, I had my Wish-List for November ready in the first week of this month but I only got around to post this today! If you read my first ever Wish-List post (read it here) you know I share only some products out of my extensive wishlist, products I really really want and hope to buy that month and cross off my list.

Sooo here's my Wish-List for November!

1. CoverGirl - The Super Sizer by LashBlast Mascara,
I have to have it after I saw the review by Emily Noel (YouTuber). The wand looks good enough to get all the lashes specially the lower ones. I find those big wands difficult to coat my lower lashes without getting the product on my skin!

2. L'OREAL Paris - Voluminous Miss Manga Rock Mascara.
I'm sure I have seen this before but it caught my attention when I saw Kaushal (YouTuber) using this in conjunction with Maybelline Lash Sensational and it made such a huge difference, really made her lashes 'voluminous'! As I do not wear fake lashes, I'm always on a hunt for good mascaras.

3. Maybelline - Lash Sensational Mascara.
As mentioned earlier, this caught my attention after Kaushal used this and raved about it. Also it really lengthened her lashes and since then I've been wanting to get my hands on it so this month I have included it here so I finally get it and try it myself.

4. Wet n Wild Fergie Shimmer Palette - Hollywood Boulevard:
Oh I have been hooked to highlighters!! After Kathleen shared it and then the beautiful Maliha Asif, a fellow member of Pakistan Beauty Society swatched and reviewed it on her Snapchat, you must follow her on her Snapchat which is thatglowlife, she does awesome reviews, I just have to include it in my Wish-List!! This highlighter is beautiful!!! *-*

5. SKINDINAVIA - The Makeup Finishing Spray:
I have never tried a finishing/setting spray. The only time I got it sprayed on my face was for the makeup done for my Engagement and it really made my makeup last the entire event, well until I washed it off. I was really impressed and since then I have been wanting to purchase a really good setting spray and when I found out that the Urban Decay ones are made with Skindinavia I want to try the real deal!

6. Jesse's Girl Cosmetics - Liquid Eyeliner:
I love cake and gel eye liners and I have more grip and control over a brush. I have always practiced wing liners with a brush but just a few weeks back I tried this eyeliner in pen form (review coming soon) and I decided to invest in another from some other brand because I felt that pens are really quick and travel friendly. I don't have to go through the hassle of getting the brush wet (although I don't mind that but while I'm traveling it's a big NO). I have seen this being used by Kathleen a lot of times and she recommended it hence it made its way to my wishlist!

So there finally is my WishList for November. I don't know why but I'm going through a mascara phase which you clearly can see from this post. I recently went through a highlighter phase -_- Can somebody relate to this? I hope I'm not the only one!!
Don't forget to share your wishlist with me!! i can't wait to get better and get into my routine. Stay safe and healthy you guys! I feel we need to take extra care this season. I wish you all good health <3

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

My First INGLOT Haul!

Hello Beautiful!

I know you've been waiting for this Haul since I mentioned it in my last post on INGLOT (which you can read here). I couldn't get my hands on the famous Gel Liner in #77 and the color selection and products really overwhelmed me! You'd wanna get everything if you're makeup obsessed like me. As this was my first purchase from INGLOT, I kept it small. Let's see what I got!

What I Hauled:

a) INGLOT Makeup Brush - 4SS.
b) INGLOT Makeup Brush - 6SS
c) INGLOT AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow - 14

I'm always on a hunt for good blending brushes although one of these is too big for an eyeshadow blending brush. I feel it'll be perfect for highlighting the face and you can be precise with the highlight. I'll put up a review after I start using them more. The pigment is a beautiful peachy pink or rose gold if you may.

I can't wait to go back and get some more goodies! So if you have any favorites, let me know in the comments so that I can try them next. Also let me know if you want a review on the brushes first or the pigment.

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

INGLOT - A Makeup Heaven In Pakistan!

Hello Beautiful!

We got one of the best news this year and it was the opening of the much much loved INGLOT right here in Karachi and since then it had expanded to Lahore, Islamabad and very soon to Multan! We all know INGLOT well by it's Gel Liner #77, O2M Breathable Nail Enamel, the Freedom System and the huge variety of products and color range of over 1500 shades. The range consists of over 450 ways to improve your lips, 600 ways to enhance your eyes, and over 300 ways to portray your face, while the extremely rich collection of nail polishes consists of up to 400 shades.

About INGLOT:

Founded over 30 years ago in a small town of Przemysl, INGLOT Cosmetics is now one of the world's leading manufacturers in color cosmetics. INGLOT currently has a presence at all major beauty happenings and events around the globe, from the runways of Fashion Week to stages and sets of TV and Broadway musicals.
The international expansion began in 2006 with the opening of the first franchise store in Montreal, Canada.

INGLOT In Pakistan:

Collaboration with Nishat Linen

Nishat Linen collaborated with INGLOT Cosmetics as it's portfolio fits perfectly with Nishat Linen's signature which is to provide a wide range of products at reasonable rates and with excellent quality. Joanna Kobrylo, INGLOT Vice President noted, "We are really excited to have opened the first INGLOT store in Pakistan. Nishat Linen is a reliable and active partner. We are sure that Pakistani women will appreciate the high quality of our products very soon."
Pakistan market needed a color cosmetics brand that could provide not only good quality and value for money products but variety and experience too and INGLOT offered just that. Nishat Linen is now the master distributor for INGLOT in Pakistan.

"People in Pakistan are embracing premium international brands entering the local market and these brands realize the true potential of the market. INGLOT Cosmetics is one of the world's most popular and renowned manufacturers of makeup. Its portfolio fulfills the need of a brand which offers a wide range of products at a reasonable price and excellent quality which is the signature of Nishat Linen. It also comes with a buying experience no other brand is providing in Pakistan.I am pleased to collaborate with INGLOT Cosmetics and we look forward to expand in major cities of the country," Naz Mansha - CEO Nishat Linen.

Karachi welcomed INGLOT Cosmetics at The Ocean Mall and the response it received was amazing with our favorite Gel Liner #77 getting out of stock in just a few days of its opening.

INGLOT - Karachi offers a wide range of products. With the major categories of Lips, Face, Eyes and Nails they also have a large variety of accessories such as makeup bags, professional tools, makeup brushes and fragrance. With very very reasonable prices -I say very because they are priced right as their dollar prices and not higher as the other international brands are priced here (like L'OREAL *sigh*).
Also, the good news is that the prices will remain this reasonable! I was skeptical at first and thought maybe these are just introductory but nopity nope! I was confirmed, to my utter satisfaction, that the prices will prevail! (YAY!)

Oh and while I was at it, I also inquired if they have any plans for Bloggers or a Bloggers Meet-Up and guess what my fellow bloggers?? They replied, "Yes! It's in the pipeline!" So yeah, I have high hopes regarding that! *Fingers Crossed*

The INGLOT store at The Ocean Mall is a Makeup Heaven for makeup lovers, where you can swatch and try the products at the spot before making the purchase (which isn't possible in Online shopping).

Makeup counters loaded with Lips, Face, Eyes and Nail products are lined against the left and right walls as you enter the store, with a separate counter for Freedom System in the center. The color selection at the store is enormous and so is the variety of products. I felt like a toddler in a candy shop wanting to get my hands on everything and fill my cart up to the brim but as a cautious buyer *cough* I selected a few items, seriously a few, as my first ever purchase from INGLOT. I believe in building my collection slowly and gradually. I try my best to keep the hoarder (you can see my hoarder side here)  in me under control and purchase what I absolutely will use and thus be able to test and review for you <3

I'll share my tiny haul in a separate post right after this. Meanwhile let me know which products from INGLOT have you tried and love. Also do leave your recommendations down in the comments so that I can pick them up on my next trip to this Makeup Heaven called INGLOT.

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!

Over A Cup Of Coffee... -with Nayab Najam!

Hello there!!

Wondering what the title means? Well read on to find out! :D

I'm suuuuper excited to start another series on my blog!!! YAY! I have an ongoing series on my blog called The Fall Series (which I will link at the end of this post)

So this new series is called "Over A Cup Of Coffee", where I will include Q/As, formal and informal interviews with various Bloggers, YouTubers and other personalities! Sounds fun right?! I think so too!! :D

Let's start with the first installment in this series!

Over A Cup Of Coffee...

-With Nayab Najam!

I'm so glad to start this new series on my blog with a Q/A or Informal Interview (if you may) with the beautiful Nayab Najam from www.NAYABLOVES.com

Nayab in her words:

A self confessed matte lipstick hoarder, I'm just an average 20-something desi girl that loves makeup, food and a bit of fashion.

Nayab Najam started with her blog in 2011 who has now extended to her very own YouTube channel. Her blog is full of informative reviews, fun Nail Art, hauls and tid bits from her life. You're gonna love every post with her in-depth reviews, conversational style and great photography!

I finally got a chance to interview her after she recently started her YouTube channel, a tutorial on a brown smokey eye that is very easy to follow, you must watch it! I got some really interesting questions for her and while the coffee is still steaming hot, let's begin.

Q1. How long have you been into makeup?

About the same time that I started my blog – couple of years now for sure!

Q2. How would you describe your style?

Comfort over style always, I’m a no heel girl for sure!

Q3. Why did you start making videos?

My YouTube channel is basically an extension of my blog – nayabloves is always going to be my main focus – the channel is just there to compliment it.

Q4. What are the best aspects of running your own channel? What are the hardest aspects?

The uploading! Lol – with the YouTube ban in Pakistan – it takes soo soo long to upload the smallest of vids! The best part has to be the feedback I’ve gotten – I’m in my last semester of university so super busy with that and work, the blog and YouTube channel have definitely taken a backseat for now but I’m still really happy with the response I’ve gotten so far.

Q5. What are your personal favorites beauty Youtubers?

I love NikkieTutorials, FleurdeForce, ItsJudyTime – these are just the beauty vloggers. When it comes to daily lifestyle vloggers – the list is endless!

Q6. What do you do when you're not filming or blogging?

Studying, working, chores around the house. Trust me – there’s always something that needs to be done.

Q7. What's your daily makeup routine?

Lots of concealer for sure lol, liquid eyeliner on the upper lash line and lipstick are necessities. The rest I like to change depending on my mood.

Q8. Who is your makeup inspiration?

Anyone who does natural makeup! I love instagram artists and am in awe of their talent, but I can’t ever imagine going out with Instagram-brows and Instagram-contour, its just not my thing.

Q9. What beauty products can you not live without?

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Luscious Angel Eyes Primer (great for concealing)
Wet n Wild Lipsticks

Q10. Do you prefer drugstore or high end makeup brands?

I’m a drugstore girl through and through – rarely splurge on high end stuff!

Q11. What are your favorite places to shop?

Ulta and Target! Lots of variety!

Q12. Are there any trends you're particularly inspired by this season?

Bold lips – but that is a trend that comes around every year around this fall so it’s more of a classic by now.

Q13. If you had a thousand dollars to spend on makeup, what would you buy?

Haha – not sure if I will be able to spend that much in one go but lots of lipsticks and highlighters for sure!

Q14. Whats your most memorable makeup faux pas?

Not filling in my horrendous non existent brows till like two years back haha

Q15. What do you think about the YouTube community of Pakistan? How did you make your place?

I’ve only just started so barely having any footing now – I’ve come across a lot of girls! I had no idea about their channel before but I’m definitely loving seeing all these hauls with Sapphire and Pakistani brands that one can relate to you know

Q16. Any advice for anyone who wants to start their own beauty channel?

Make sure you have good internet! Seriously – doesn’t seem that important but it is! I have way too many videos that are ready to upload but the inconsistent internet is killing me! I usually get so frustrated and cancel the upload.

Q17. Where can my readers follow you?
Twitter - @nayabloves
Instagram - @nayabloves
Snapchat - nayabnajam

So that was Nayab Najam for you, she's so polite and sweet! So glad I got a chance to interview her. Don't forget to subscribe to her channel and follow her blog!

Also make sure you're subscribed to my blog for more in this series and in The Fall Series. If you have a suggestion for this series, please leave it in the comments down below or send me an email at thegulezehrablog@gmail.com or inbox me at www.facebook.com/gulezehrasblog.

I hope you guys enjoyed this because I certainly did. (:

Until next time, Good Luck and Ciao!
